One World International School is seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as After-school care and Study Hall Supervision Teachers. This part-time position plays a crucial role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students while offering academic support during the after-school programme.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of students during the afterschool program from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM daily.
2. Homework Assistance: Provide academic support and assistance to students in completing their homework assignments.
3. Enrichment Activities: Plan and facilitate engaging enrichment activities that align with the school’s curriculum and promote holistic development.
4. Communication: Maintain effective communication with parents, updating them on their child’s progress and any relevant information.
5. Behavioral Guidance: Foster a positive and respectful atmosphere by implementing appropriate behaviour management strategies.
6. Collaboration: Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive and supportive afterschool environment.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field.
2. Experience: Prior experience working with students in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
3. Passion: Demonstrate a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their academic and social development.
4. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
5. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time effectively and coordinate activities for a diverse group of students.
