OWIS Tsukuba is currently accepting admissions for Early Childhood Education to Grade 6 (ages 3-12)
We intend to open a new grade every year, with Grade 12 opening by 2031

The workshop dived deep into how we can foster true learner and teacher agency through collaborative, community-driven practices.
Key takeaways from our conceptual exploration included:
-Nurturing internationally-minded students who embody the IB Learner Profile.
-Equipping students with the attitudes and skills needed for both academic and personal success.
-Cultivating curiosity and deep understanding of both local and global contexts.
-Working together to support and elevate learning for all.
We are excited to bring these transdisciplinary, concept-driven strategies into our classrooms and continue designing impactful units of inquiry tailored to our school context!

-Exploring global cultures
And much more!
Parents may enrol their children for either 2 or 4 weeks! Simply scan the QR Code and fill out the registration form.
Arrival: 8:40 am - Dismissal: 3:00 pm Monday to Friday!

☀️2026 Summer Camp at OWIS Tsukuba! 💙
☀️2026年OWISつくばのサマーキャンプ💙
We are excited to announce the OWIS Tsukuba Summer Camp 2026, scheduled from the 13th of July to the 7th of August!
Our very first camp offers an engaging and enriching experience for children from ECE - all the way to Grade 6 and is open to both OWIS Tsukuba students, as well as external students residing in Japan! 🏫
Look forward to activities such as:
-STEM challenges
-Creative Projects
-Music and Art
-Games and Storytelling
-Exploring global cultures
And much more!
Parents may enrol their children for either 2 or 4 weeks! Simply scan the QR Code and fill out the registration form.
Arrival: 8:40 am - Dismissal: 3:00 pm Monday to Friday!

Come to our second information session of the year, where we will be announcing new updates regarding the construction timeline of our school, curriculum, and :
