OWIS Parent-Teacher Association (OPTA)

OPTA is the center of our parent-school partnership. It’s a platform where elected parents actively share insights, and contribute to the school’s development. OPTA meetings provide opportunities for parents to connect, discuss ideas, and work together on various projects that enhance the school experience for all. They act as a representative of our whole parent community.

Toddle time:

Parents can be a part of our daily classroom activities without actually being present there. This is what Toddle does! We use Toddle, a user-friendly and essential tool designed to enhance the connection between parents and teachers. It provides a secure and convenient space for parents to stay informed about their child’s daily activities, milestones, and upcoming events.

Saturday workshops and events:

We understand that weekdays can be busy for many families. That’s why we offer Saturday workshops and events. These sessions cover a wide range of topics, from educational workshops to fun family activities. It’s a chance for parents to actively participate in their child’s learning journey, all while enjoying quality time together.

Concerts and performances:

Our school hosts a variety of concerts and performances throughout the year. Parents come in and enjoy our vibrant events, where they can see their child’s performances. It’s a fun time for parents to interact with Team OWIS Riyadh and interact with the community members.

Parent engagement activities:

We organize various parent engagement activities where they can be a part of our student’s classroom learning. To give you a better understanding, one such event was the Career Week, where parents from different professional backgrounds shared their career stories with our young learners.
