At OWIS Riyadh, we are committed to fostering a strong parent-school partnership to support our students&#8217; learning journey. Let\u2019s have a look at how we do it:<\/span>\r\n<b><\/b>\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n<ol>\r\n \t<li><b>OWIS Parent-Teacher Association (OPTA)<\/b><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">OPTA is the center of our parent-school partnership. It&#8217;s a platform where elected parents actively share insights, and contribute to the school&#8217;s development. OPTA meetings provide opportunities for parents to connect, discuss ideas, and work together on various projects that enhance the school experience for all. They act as a representative of our whole parent community.<\/span>\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n<ol start=\"2\">\r\n \t<li><b> Toddle time:<\/b><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Parents can be a part of our daily classroom activities without actually being present there. This is what Toddle does! We use Toddle, a user-friendly and essential tool designed to enhance the connection between parents and teachers. It provides a secure and convenient space for parents to stay informed about their child&#8217;s daily activities, milestones, and upcoming events.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n<ol start=\"3\">\r\n \t<li><b> Saturday workshops and events:<\/b><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We understand that weekdays can be busy for many families. That&#8217;s why we offer Saturday workshops and events. These sessions cover a wide range of topics, from educational workshops to fun family activities. It&#8217;s a chance for parents to actively participate in their child&#8217;s learning journey, all while enjoying quality time together.<\/span>\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n<ol start=\"4\">\r\n \t<li><b> Concerts and performances:<\/b><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Our school hosts a variety of concerts and performances throughout the year. Parents come in and enjoy our vibrant events, where they can see their child\u2019s performances. It\u2019s a fun time for parents to interact with Team OWIS Riyadh and interact with the community members.<\/span>\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n<ol start=\"5\">\r\n \t<li><b> Parent engagement activities:<\/b><\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We organize various parent engagement activities where they can be a part of our student\u2019s classroom learning. To give you a better understanding, one such event was the Career Week, where parents from different professional backgrounds shared their career stories with our young learners.<\/span>\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b>Getting Involved is easy at OWIS Riyadh:<\/b>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As a parent you can actively be a part of your child\u2019s educational journey with OWIS Riyadh through our monthly newsletters, social media channels and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/staging.globalschools.com\/oneworld\/school-stories\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">story page<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.
