Overall Responsibilities
- To provide support to students with educational, emotional, physical and behavioural challenges
- To conduct the Behavioural Counselling Programme in the campus
- To advise and provide individualised support to students with educational, emotional, physical and behavioural challenges
- To stay informed of students with diagnosed and undisclosed needs and provide the students with necessary support
- To maintain consultation records and documentation
- To recommend further resources to parents such as specialists, where appropriate
- To provide feedback to the reporting supervisor and campus administration on the effectiveness of the Behavioural Counselling Programme and emerging trends in the campus, if any
- Work closely with the form teachers to identify students who may require additional support
- Maintain constant communication with parents, form teachers and the campus administration on the student’s progress
Requirements:
- Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in an international school environment (preferred)
- Candidates must at least possess a Bachelor’s degree in Education and qualifications in Counselling, preferably with Counselling certification from local or international professional bodies
- Familiar with common social, emotional and mental health difficulties of learners
- Must have strong knowledge and experience of the IB /IGCSE curriculum and integration of learning
