Pastoral Care and Student Well-Being Programme at OWIS Digital Campus

At One World International School (OWIS) Digital Campus, our pastoral care and student well-being programme helps to ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment for every child. Our programme emphasises building strong relationships between students, teachers and families to create a caring community and an inclusive ethos. Through personalised mentoring, proactive counselling assistance and a range of wellness initiatives, we ensure that each student feels valued, understood and empowered to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

What Pastoral Care and Student Well-Being Looks Like at OWIS Digital Campus

Mindfulness Programme

The Mindfulness Programme for our Primary School in Punggol focuses on teaching young children techniques to enhance their emotional regulation, concentration and overall mental health. Through activities such as drawing, music therapy and breathing exercises, we aim to equip our Primary students with resources to manage stress and develop a positive mindset from an early stage.

PSHE Programme

The Personal Health Social and Economic (PSHE) Programme for Secondary School covers a broader spectrum of topics essential for the personal development of students. This includes education on physical health, mental well-being, social skills and economic understanding. Our curriculum is designed to help Secondary students navigate the complexities of adolescence, make informed decisions and prepare for the responsibilities of life beyond school.

Behavioural Counselling

Behavioural Counselling forms a crucial part of our support system, where students work closely with our counsellors to address behavioural challenges and develop positive habits. By setting achievable goals and providing age-appropriate strategies, our counsellors help students enhance their social interactions, academic performance and overall well-being.

Leadership Series Talk

Our Leadership Series Talk brings inspiring leaders from various fields to share their insights, experiences and strategies for success with our students. From industry managers to community leaders, each speaker offers unique perspectives on leadership, resilience and innovation, motivating students to discover their own leadership potential and make a positive impact in their communities. These talks foster a culture of empowerment, collaboration and forward-thinking among our student body, preparing them to become tomorrow's leaders.

MAP

The Mentorship Advisory Programme (MAP) at OWIS Digital Campus assigns each student a dedicated mentor advisor, serving as the primary point of contact for parents concerning their child’s academic progress and overall development.

This programme ensures holistic support for every student by fostering a personalised tutoring relationship. Through consistent tracking of student target setting and achievement, MAP aims to create a supportive and structured environment where each student can thrive and reach their full potential.
