We begin with devices such as AppleTV and iPads in the classroom<\/a> as well as LED display panels to optimise student engagement. This enables the classroom to become fully interactive and for students to experience the daily use of technology. Advanced audio reinforcement underscores the learning process by ensuring the students grasp the information presented to them in ways they can understand. Rapid Wi-Fi keeps pace with the flow of study, and ensures that all students and staff have constant access. \u00a0A charging trolley promises no downtime due to depleted battery. It also ensures that it is always ready for the next class.<\/p>\n

Educational Applications and Software to Foster Learning<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Of course, the very best hardware and devices are only at their best when the software and applications are equally outstanding. At the Nanyang Campus, we believe in software that\u2019s both grade-level appropriate and challenging. Our educational software is designed to hold students\u2019 interest as they are encouraged to go further in their capacity to learn. It also encourages a passion for learning about how software is developed and updated, which will be fundamental to our students\u2019 onward careers in the 21st century.<\/p>\n

We utilise a digital portfolio as a means of keeping parents involved in the learning process. Students can maintain their portfolio of work and \u201cshow what they know\u201d so that parents can augment the learning process at home. It helps parents to see what their children are studying, monitor whether they are keeping up to date with their studies and also give them an interactive insight into their child\u2019s progress. Also, being able to take pride in their learning process allows the child to grow in self-esteem and confidence, something every student needs in order to move forward.<\/p>\n

Backend Support and Maintenance<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Our backend technology is exemplary. The servers, applications, networks and databases are supported, secured and maintained at the highest levels. Students have access to our technology infrastructure at all times, ensuring there\u2019s no interruption in the flow of learning during their formative years. We have qualified teams who constantly monitor and update our systems to ensure they run to the highest possible standard. The systems are large enough to support the whole school and this ensures that the system is usable at all times.<\/p>\n
