Walking down the corridors, excitement mingled with nostalgia as parents entered the classrooms to meet their child&#8217;s dedicated teachers. The teachers&#8217; warmth and enthusiasm further reinforced the sense of unity and purpose that resonated throughout the school.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Later in the day, Secondary parents were invited to engage with subject specialists of Secondary School. This served as an introduction to how different subjects are given due focus from Grades 6 to 12, including in the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/owis.org\/sg\/learning-and-curricula\/cambridge-igcse\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">IGCSE<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/owis.org\/sg\/learning-and-curricula\/ib-diploma\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">IBDP<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> grades. This interaction underscored the school&#8217;s commitment to transparency and collaboration, fostering a strong bridge between educators and families.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Beyond academics, parents were introduced to the OWIS Parent Committee\u2014a group dedicated to enriching the school experience. At One World International School in Singapore, we firmly believe that parental involvement is a cornerstone in supporting students to reach their fullest potential. The orientation didn&#8217;t just educate parents; it made them feel valued and included in their child&#8217;s growth.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Transitioning from Orientation Day to the first week of the school year was seamless, as engaging classes set the tone for the exciting year ahead. Parents will have many opportunities to visit the school and be actively involved in their children\u2019s learning. For students, our academic team has been planning exciting events and learning experiences that will ensure that they get the most out of their school life at
