Through exploring topics such as environmental sustainability and social challenges, they developed important research skills, including sourcing information, evaluating evidence and using citations\u2014skills that continue to support them in secondary school and the IBDP.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Beyond academic preparation, the students highlighted the mindset that the PYP nurtured. They learned to question assumptions, explore multiple perspectives and think beyond a single textbook or source of information.
