Make the winter holidays a time to explore and discover. Enjoy hands-on projects, sports, excursions, and special activities, with opportunities to build confidence through immersive English in an international school environment.

Additional Details
Arrival time: Please drop your child off between 8:30 am and 8:45 am for a 9:00 am start each day. Excursions may affect these times.
Pick-up time: 3:30 pm–4:00 pm. Excursions may affect these times.
No school bus: The OWIS school bus service is not available during Winter Camp. Families must arrange their own daily transportation to and from campus.
No overnight accommodation: Winter Camp is a day programme. No overnight stays or boarding are provided.
Winter Camp 2026 Pricing
Fees cover the one-week camp from 14th–18th December 2026. Prices below exclude consumption tax.
🏫 OWIS Students
¥60,000
Plus materials fee and any applicable registration fee.
🌍 External Students
¥70,000
Plus materials fee and any applicable registration fee.
Materials fee: ¥5,000 per student.
Registration fee: ¥15,000. This applies only to students who have never previously enrolled in an OWIS seasonal camp.
Consumption tax: 10% will be added to the total cost.

Why Join OWIS Winter Camp?
From Arctic-inspired creations to winter adventures, our camp brings children together to explore, create, and make friends. Discover some of the highlights from our previous programme below for a taste of what Winter Camp can offer.
Arctic Creativity
Winter becomes a world of imagination through art, storytelling, and filmmaking. Activities have included clay Arctic animals, colourful masks, ice painting, and stop-motion movies, giving campers different ways to express their ideas and create something of their own.
Winter Cooking
Seasonal cooking gives children a delicious introduction to practical kitchen skills. From hot chocolate with marshmallows to fruit popsicles and chocolate truffles, our previous programme combined festive treats with learning about kitchen safety, hygiene, and following recipes.
Snowy Adventures
Adventures beyond campus bring the winter theme to life. Our previous programme included a full-day trip to Mt. Rokko Snow Park, with sledging, snow play, snowman building, and a warm lunch at the mountain restaurant.
Sports and Team Challenges
Team games encourage children to get moving, support one another, and build confidence. Our Arctic Survival activities have also challenged older campers to explore shelter building, navigation, and simulated ice rescue tasks through teamwork and practical problem-solving.
Special Guest Experiences
Guest-led activities add a sense of wonder and discovery. Our previous programme featured magician Dougie Dave, with a live performance, balloon art, and simple magic tricks for children to learn and share.
Warm Lunches Together
A warm meal offers time to relax, recharge, and connect with friends. Daily catered hot lunches were part of our previous programme, helping children refuel before an afternoon of creativity, games, and exploration.
