PYP Teachers
Start Date: August 1, 2022
Responsible for teaching students in line with the PYP methodology and educating them according to the guidelines provided by the school.
Overall Responsibilities
To teach and educate students according to the guidelines provided by the school’s curricular program.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- To teach across the whole age range, including PYP, IGCSE, and the IB Diploma
- Design, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with PYP learning methodology.
- Assess and monitor the progress of learners and set goals for improvement, including writing students’ reports and attending meetings with parents.
- Liaise with the PYP Coordinator to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum.
- Manage clear and precise parent interaction.
- Take up extra-curricular activities. Be a part of school events, assemblies, staff training, meetings, etc.

Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years or more relevant full-time teaching experience as a qualified teacher with prior experience of teaching PYP (a must).

Early Childhood Teachers
Start Date: August 1, 2022
Responsible for teaching in line with PYP learning methodology and according to the guidelines provided by the school’s curricular program.
Overall Responsibilities
To include the below but not limited to:

- Design, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with PYP learning methodology.

Requirements

Admissions Executive
Start Date: July 1, 2022
This role will be responsible for ensuring the student enrollment goals of the school through virtual and face-to-face counseling are met.
Overall Responsibilities
The specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the below:
- Inquiry Management – quick and appropriate response to inbound inquiries via our website, emails, telephone, zoom calls, and walk-ins.
- Timely and proactive follow-up of all leads to convert them into engaged prospects and, finally, long-term customers.
- Being highly responsive and proactive in all customer-facing tasks.
- Making sure that all potential customers are delighted with their experience of OWIS regardless of whether they enroll their children or not.
- CRM (HubSpot) management – manage all communications & lead management processes on HubSpot.
- Working with the finance team, marketing team, academic team, operations team, and all other relevant internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of the admissions department.
- Any other ad hoc responsibility assigned by the reporting manager
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum two (2) years experience in a sales or business development role.
- Experience in admissions for K-12 international schools is preferred.
- A master’s degree is preferred but not required.

Receptionist
Start Date: May 18, 2023
Contribute to the provision of quality services by providing administrative support for a team of professionals, in accordance with the organization’s office routines and procedures.
Overall Responsibilities
- Manages incoming and outgoing mails, parcels, messages, fax and phone calls and ensures that the relevant personnel receives them
- Attends to queries from walk-in visitors, students, staff and vendors
- Prepares and issues car park labels and visitor passes
- Manage record books such as those relating to rental/ booking of school facilities and ensure room keys are accounted for
- Updates internal phone list, staff room seating plans, locker plans etc.
- Manages loss and found items
- Ensures neat and clean reception and lobby area
- Provides administrative support and documentation filing
- Oversees Administrative Assistant in the ordering of supplies (printing paper, stationery, newspapers etc.) and ensures constant supply of materials for use
- Assists students in administration-related matters (e.g. collection of Examination Certificates, use of sick bay, issuance of Student Identification Passes, issue combination locks, etc.)
- Communicates and coordinates with internal departments
- Liaises with School Attendant to ensure the sufficient supply of refreshments for pantries
- Covers the duties of the administrative assistant and personal assistant in their absence. Attend ad-hoc task as assigned by superiors
Qualifications

Admissions Executive
Start Date: Jul 17, 2023
Overall Responsibilities
- Leads the prospecting, nurturing and closing process in the Admissions team
- Manages operations to hit performance metrics for the Admissions team in the campus
- Works closely with the Admissions Head to understand monthly targets, tracks the monthly targets for the team, and works towards the achievement of these targets
- Collaborates with the Marketing and Academics teams to develop strategies to increase enrolment numbers
- Develops parent engagement strategies to quickly and effectively build relationships with prospective parents
- Assists in the planning and organising of various programmes and activities in the campus, such as Open House, parent-teacher events, orientation, etc.
- Able to understand the key pain points and drivers of prospective parents, and align the school’s offerings to their needs
- Monitors the offline and online channels for leads and follows up with prospective parents (e.g. one-to-one counselling for offline channels, quick response to emails and web queries for online channels or tele conversations, etc.)
- Reviews the effectiveness of the various channels and shares feedback with the Admissions Team
- Acts at the first point of contact, guides new parents through the Admissions process (e.g. documents, scholarships, admissions fees, etc.), for future communications, and conducts onboarding for new students
- Keeps abreast of competitor offerings
- Conducts presentations during Admission events, such as the Open House, and addresses enquiries from parents
- Maintain networks and relationships with internal and external partners at the working level to keep abreast of the current industry climate and macroeconomic trends

Homeroom Teacher
Start Date: June 1, 2023
The role holder is responsible for delivering classroom instruction that helps students learn and excel and developing students’ abilities and interest through creative activities.
Overall Responsibilities
- Plans the curriculum for the year for the respective grade
- Reviews the feedback from the academic coordinators and revises the lesson plans accordingly
- Keeps up to date with the latest teaching aids, such as the use of technology in classroom learning, and integrate these into the teaching process
- Creates challenging and engaging learning opportunities for students, and fosters a classroom atmosphere that is conducive for learning
- Develops worksheets, handouts, and other learning materials in line with the lesson plan and curriculum, as well as the assessments and examinations
- Responsible for the timely marking and correction of assignments completed by the students
- Assess, records and reports on the development, progress and results of students
- Identifies students who may require additional assistance, academic or non-academic, and ensures they receive the necessary support
- Contributes to extra-curricular activities and participates in school activities such as assemblies, meetings and conferences
- Ensures the safety of students at all times
Interaction
- Collaborates with other teachers to share new ideas, teaching approaches, content and professional knowledge
- Communications and provides feedback to the parents during the Parent Teacher Meetings, and whenever necessary

Physical Education and Performing Arts Teacher
Start Date: June 1, 2023
The PE and PA Teacher will be responsible for the development and implementation of sports activities that are align with school curriculum and provide students with the abilities to learn and develop their skills in sports activities. The role is also to provide leading edge expertise in the area of dance and training to required standards and prepare students for productions and performances.
Overall Responsibilities
- Ensure there is a wide variety of sports and dance activities in which students can participate
- Provide the opportunity for students to play fixtures within school and against other schools
- Enable students to develop socially and personally from participation in sport
- Discover and develop talents of students in physical achievements.
- Ensure equipment is checkedand the class environment meets standards for safety
- Plan and implement PE and PA lesson based on OWIS curriculum
- Develop and manage dedicated School sports teams.
- Plan, organize and coordinate for the events for the promotion of dance, games, sports and physical recreation programs
- Organize co-curricular workshops and camps to motivate and facilitate a holistic development in both academic and athletic elements for the students
- Promote the establishment of sports clubs and physical recreation groups within the school
- Develop and implement short and long-range goals for the physical education programs
- Keep regular attendance records of students and classes conducted
- Prepare Sport and Physical Recreation Budget

Music Teacher

The primary role is to provide leading edge expertise in the area of music which includes the theory and practice of general music, singing and playing musical instruments and training to required standards and preparing students for productions and performances
Overall Responsibilities
- Design, prepare & deliver lesson plans in line with the IBDP/ American curriculum
- To teach various music forms to increase the interests of the students
- Actively participate in the annual day / school level competitions and preparing the children for those competitions
- Assessing, recording and reporting on the development and progress of students
- Communicating, consulting and providing feedback to the parents of students during PTM or as and when the requirement / need arises
Minimum Qualifications

Arabic Teacher
Start Date: June 1, 2023
To provide and contribute to the teaching of Arabic, in accordance with the approved curriculum and using appropriate syllabus, materials and schemes of work.
Overall Responsibilities
- Design, prepare & deliver comprehensive Arabic Language teaching programs to promote development of learning skills of students with an emphasis on standard Arabic and a focus on reading, writing, and speaking
- Design, prepare and deliver lessons to teach basic knowledge, techniques, support and enhance learner’s understanding of the subject
- Assess and monitor the progress of learners and set goals for improvement
- Assessing, recording and reporting on the development and progress of students
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years or more relevant full-time teaching experience as a qualified teacher (a must)

Islamic Teacher

To provide and contribute to the teaching of Islamic Curriculum, using appropriate syllabus, materials and schemes of work, in accordance with the approved school guidelines.

Steam Coordinator Teacher
Start Date: June 1, 2023
The role holder will plan and develop innovative STEAM programming, which includes group programming, one on one intervention and Social and Emotional Learning development
Overall Responsibilities
- Responsible for the planning and implementation of hands-on, project-based after-school and out-of-school STEAM learning that includes instruction, evaluation, STEAM camp, field trips, community service events or service learning projects and workshops
- Operate as an advocate for and supporter of inquiry and problem-based learning
- Provide guidance and coaching to teachers on educational and instructional methodology related to inquiry and the implementation of project-based curriculum
- Facilitate the development, implementation, and communication of a shared vision of learning that reflects excellence and equity for all students
- Serve as a resource for faculty and administrators as they seek additional resources, both traditional and electronic, which support the curriculum
- Work with community organizations to provide or expand co-curricular programming which supports student success
- Investigate and plan for implementation of a district STEAM/science fair

Teaching Assistant

The role holder is responsible for supporting the Teacher in the classroom.
Overall Responsibilities
- Supports the Early Childhood and Primary teachers in the classroom
- Assists the Early Childhood and Primary teachers in the preparations of teaching materials and resources
- Supervises the students during the lessons and provides additional support, physical or otherwise
- Chaperons the students during educational visits outside the classroom
- Maintains safety in the classrooms

- Graduate
