This group develops students’ ability to analyse literature and non-literary texts, communicate effectively, and appreciate different cultural perspectives.
This group helps students develop proficiency in an additional language while understanding cultural contexts and global communication.

IBDP Core Components
Along with subject choices, all DP students complete the three compulsory core elements:
Theory of Knowledge (TOK)
Encourages students to reflect on the nature of knowledge, how it is acquired, and how knowledge claims are evaluated.
Extended Essay (EE)
A 4,000-word independent research project that develops students’ research, academic writing, and critical thinking skills.
Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS)
Encourages students to engage in creative activities, physical development, and community service experiences.
Subject Availability Criteria – IBDP Psychology and Economics
Please note that Psychology and Economics will be offered as IBDP subject options based on student interest and enrolment numbers.
The school will be able to offer these subjects only if there is sufficient student demand. A minimum of five students must opt for a particular subject in order for it to be introduced in the DP1 subject offerings.
