Citizenship Classes & Assemblies (Thursdays)

Every Thursday at OWIS Osaka, students take part in Citizenship classes, which also serve as regular assemblies designed to strengthen confidence, communication skills, and a sense of belonging across the school.

Weekly Citizenship & Assembly Structure

Three Thursdays each month are dedicated to stage-based Citizenship sessions where students come together in age-appropriate groups:

On the final Thursday of each month, the entire school gathers for a whole-school assembly in the Gym, reinforcing unity and shared values across all year levels.

Fridays at OWIS Osaka are dedicated to deeper learning through Student Project Days, an important part of our IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) approach and the Unit of Inquiry (UoI) framework.

Free Dress Day allows students to express their personality in an age-appropriate way. This supports confidence, independence, and identity development — especially important in international school environments.
