Below are the key benefits we will focus our senior secondary school on.
Globally Recognized Academic Pathway
Our Senior Secondary programme follows a globally recognized academic pathway with clear, structured progression year by year. Students develop strong subject mastery and disciplined study habits through purposeful assessment and guided support, building the confidence and credentials needed for successful overseas university entry, and in some cases Japanese universities as well.
University Readiness & Guidance
Our Senior Secondary programme places strong emphasis on university readiness through structured, personalised guidance. Students are supported in making informed course and subject choices, setting clear academic goals, and developing portfolios, recommendations, and application plans—ensuring they are well prepared for university pathways in Japan and overseas.
Future-Ready Skills
Our Senior Secondary programme develops future-ready skills that students need to thrive beyond school. Through collaborative projects, technology-enabled learning, and real-world problem-solving, students strengthen critical thinking, digital literacy, teamwork, and responsible independence—capabilities that universities and employers consistently value.
International Citizenship
Students at OWIS Tsukuba learn within a diverse international community that fosters cultural intelligence and a genuinely global perspective. Through daily interaction with peers from different backgrounds and viewpoints, students develop international citizenship—gaining the openness, empathy, and global mindset needed to succeed in an interconnected world.
Sports Achievements
Our high school students understand the value of teamwork and collaboration as they participate in diverse sports activities under the guidance of trained coaches.
