Dear Parents,

Welcome to One World International School, Tsukuba! As the Founding Head of School, it is my great pleasure to introduce our new educational community. We are excited to open our doors for our first full academic year starting in August 2025.

Our vision is to become an International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum school, offering a comprehensive K-12 education. We will begin with grades K-5 and plan to add a grade each year as we grow. Our mission is to provide an environment where every child is known, valued, and appreciated, fostering their unique talents, interests, and aspirations through a holistic educational approach.

Kindness and respect are central to our school community. We believe in the power of empathy and compassion to create a positive and supportive environment. Our curriculum will encourage curiosity, creativity, and leadership, preparing students for both academic success and personal fulfillment.

Leadership skills are woven throughout our educational approach, empowering students to lead themselves and others in pursuing their passions. A strong partnership between home and school is crucial, and we are committed to working closely with you to ensure your child reaches their full potential.

Although our campus is still under construction, we invite you to attend future information sessions to learn more about our admissions process and the school’s vision. We will also share our plans to apply for candidacy as an IB World School, following the appropriate steps and guidelines.
