Location: OWIS Osaka campus, Osaka, Japan

Job Description:

OWIS Osaka is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kids Summer Camp Teachers to join our team for a 4-week summer camp program. As a Kids Summer Camp Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a fun, engaging, and educational environment for children aged 5 to 12 years old.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, games, and projects to promote learning, creativity, and physical activity.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to participate.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Provide guidance and support to camp counsellors and assistants.
• Communicate effectively with camp staff, parents, and school administration regarding camp activities, schedules, and any concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized camp environment, including equipment, supplies, and facilities.
• Adapt activities and teaching methods to accommodate the needs and interests of individual children.
• Serve as a positive role model for campers, promoting teamwork, respect, and good sportsmanship.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children in a camp, school, or childcare setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiasm for working with children and a passion for education.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Japanese is a plus but not required.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Some flexibility may be required for occasional evening or weekend events.
