Building Towards K12 Education

OWIS Tsukuba currently offers Early Childhood Education to Grade 5 (ages 3-11)

We intend to open a new grade every year, with Grade 12 opening by 2033

English Support Programme

The OWIS Tsukuba Academic English Preparation (AEP) programme is designed to improve non-native speakers’ English proficiency, ensuring they can fully take part in an English-speaking learning environment.

Our purpose-built AEP programme is segmented into three progressive levels to accelerate student English language development and allow them to seamlessly integrate into mainstream classes.

As the Founding Head of School, it is my great pleasure to introduce our new educational community. We are excited to open our doors for our first full academic year starting in August 2025.

Our vision is to offer comprehensive, inquiry-based K-12 education. We will begin with grades K-5 and plan to add a grade each year as we grow. Our mission is to provide an environment where every child is known, valued, and appreciated, fostering their unique talents, interests, and aspirations through a holistic educational approach.

Come to our second information session of the year, where we will be announcing new updates regarding the construction timeline of our school, curriculum, and :

– The construction timelines for different facilities at the school.
– Advancements regarding the development of the curriculum. 
– Get your specific questions answered.

Time: 14:30~ 16:00 (kindly enter the hall only from 14:20 pm so that we can start promptly).

Parking: There is no dedicated parking, but you can park at Tonarie Tsukuba Square (excluding the Family Mart area). If you make a purchase of 100 yen or more, you can park for free for up to 3 hours.
