Overall Responsibilities

Functional

Student Admissions and Administration

  • Execute sales goals for the campus and forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly student enrolment goals along with the Admissions Team.
  • Develop admissions strategies through information analysis and recommendations; establish functional objectives in line with organisational objectives.
  • Ensure student enrolment in the school – constantly strive to learn and adopt relevant best practices to improve parent engagement and experience so that the school’s enrolment goals are achieved.
  • Meet the monthly admission target by managing end-to-end sales strategy in accordance with the budgeted numbers.
  • Ensure all relevant details are updated on the CRM for reference and review.
  • Plan regular training and knowledge enhancement sessions for the team on the use of various sales tools and counselling techniques.
  • Motivate, inspire, train and support the team for achieving the predetermined targets of student admissions.
  • Facilitate new parents with admissions process
  • Design, develop and constantly improve the customer interfaces related to the admissions procedure, practice, counselling techniques and service standards.
  • Facilitate student admissions and student visas, and ensure compliance with policies, rules and regulations in compliance with Ministry of Education and academic progression requirements.
  • Maintain and update new, existing and graduating student database, progression pathways and alumni database whilst liaising with internal processing staff.
  • Develop and monitor statistical reports to enhance recruitment strategies, yield management, forecasting and operational efficiency.
  • Working directly with internal stakeholders to drive new enrolments through different channels for our international school.
  • Liaison with the Principal to monitor and control student withdrawals.

Sales

  • Plan and implement sales strategies to agreed budgets, admissions targets.
  • Responsible for B2B interactions with organisations such as chambers of commerce, associations, corporates and strategic partnerships.
  • Develop ideas on increasing enrolment numbers.
  • Conduct market research, competitor surveys and customer surveys.
  • Be aware of market trends and reports shifts in marketplace to Management.
  • Identify new channels to reach target audience.
  • Attend corporate visits and present to the management on new market development.

Event Management

  • Assist in organising various school activities and programmes, including orientation, parent-and-teacher events, open house, extra-curricular activities, school and public fair.
  • Represent OWIS in various open house events, seminars, conferences, workshops etc. and build a network in the education space.

People Interaction

  • Attend to walk-ins, phone calls and emails admission enquiries professionally.
  • Establish good relationships with new parents and potential parents.

Others

  • Formulate monthly admission targets.
  • Project quarterly admissions accurately.
  • Strong knowledge of the education industry (preferably International School) and capability to build a robust sales strategy.
  • High stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment & able to prioritise responsibilities.
  • Must be able to make a high level of influence, and have the ability to manage change.
  • Technology savvy.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from a reputable institute
  • 10-12 years of experience in Admissions Management with a school (preferably an international school) or in similar customer facing roles
  • Should have experience in managing hands-on customer-facing team
  • Should have held leadership positions in previous roles in the education industry for at least 3 years.
