Through play-based activities, our young learners begin to learn independently as well as by collaborating with their classmates. They advance their knowledge and broaden their imagination without even realising it.
Learning by doing
One of the ways in which we implement play-based learning at OWIS Suntec is through carefully planned hands-on activities for our young learners in Early Childhood. For example, playing with measuring cups solidifies the concepts our students learn in Maths or in their Unit of Inquiry.
Develop language and social skills
By playing with their classmates in our diverse classrooms, our students expand their vocabulary in a fun way. They build their developmental skills as they converse and collaborate with other children.
Problem-solving
With the agency they are given in our play-based learning approach, our young students in Early Childhood learn to work out minor problems and challenges on their own, with minimum guidance.
