James Morris
Originally from the UK, James brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as Head of School at One World International School (OWIS) Digital Campus. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Master of Arts (MA) in Literae Humaniores (Latin, Classical Greek, Ancient History, Literature and Philosophy) from St. Anne’s College, Oxford University. He also earned a Postgraduate Certification of Education (PGCE) in Classics and Drama from St. Catharine’s College, Cambridge University and the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) from the National College, UK.
James has over 30 years of experience in teaching and school leadership across the UK and China. He has made significant contributions as the Founding Head of an international school and Co-Head of a bilingual school, where he has been pivotal in achieving IBDP authorisation with commendations. He also served as the Whole-School Head at international schools in various cities in China, including Shanghai, Wuxi, Xiamen, Guangzhou and Wuhan. In these roles, he played a key part in obtaining IB PYP and DP authorisations as well as the Council of International Schools (CIS) and Cognia accreditations.
James is dedicated to nurturing compassionate and effective leaders. His leadership approach focuses on collaboration, teacher autonomy and student-centred education, fostering an environment where students excel academically and secure places at top universities worldwide.
James is multilingual, with proficiency in English, Chinese, Spanish, Italian and French. He is an avid traveller, having explored over 70 countries, and enjoys reading, writing, running marathons and swimming. His commitment to education and community involvement is also reflected in his roles as an OCR A Level Examiner for Classical Civilisation and as the former President of the Shanghai Oxford and Cambridge Alumni Society.
At OWIS Digital Campus, James is looking forward to integrating with a diverse team for the continual enhancement of student development. He is also excited to collaborate with all members of the school community, including students, parents, educators, board members, support staff as well as other key stakeholders.

Assistant Principal of Early Childhood & Primary School
Adrian Deller
Adrian Deller is originally from The Cotswolds, UK. He holds a PGCE in Primary (specialised in Mathematics) from The University of Exeter and a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying (Hons) from Birmingham City University.
Prior to becoming a teacher, Adrian worked as a quantity surveyor for 10 years. He took a break to spend more time with his two daughters when he relocated with his family to Malaysia. It was during this time he became involved in running a toddler activity group and decided to become a teacher. He started his career in teaching at a junior school back home and then at an international school in the Bahamas prior to moving to Singapore.
A strong believer in the value of learning as an active process, Adrian aims to provide opportunities for concepts to be experienced through inquiry and understood in context. He also believes that it is important to build relationships with the children in his class, and get to know their interests as well as what motivates them to learn. Adrian plans to cater carefully for the individual needs of his students and to both support and extend all students at each level of ability.
Adrian likes working in a busy and stimulating international school like OWIS, with its unique values and an experienced and innovative staff body.
Adrian enjoys playing football, table tennis, scuba diving, tennis, cycling, travelling and reading. He also likes to eat anything spicy!
Academic English Prep Programme (AEPP) Coordinator
Melissa Tolomeo
Melissa has been an educator and leader in international education for 11 years. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she holds a BA in English and Economics from Washington & Jefferson College, an MPIA from the University of Pittsburgh, and an M.Ed. in Primary Education from The College of New Jersey.
She also earned a Certificate in Higher Education Pedagogy from Harvard’s Bok Center for Education and is a CELTA-certified instructor. Currently a Doctor of Education (EdD) candidate at Drexel University, Melissa specialises in EAL instruction (CEFR and WIDA), International Relations, Public Speaking & Debate, and English Literature. She has extensive experience with the IB curriculum (PYP, MYP, DP) and is trained in SIOP for EAL learners.
Her expertise in curriculum development and pedagogical strategies ensures an engaging and inclusive learning environment for students.
Senior Coordinator, Secondary School
Wong Chi-Wen
Born and raised in Singapore, Chi-Wen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (Economics and Finance) from the University of Sydney, Australia and has also completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University of Singapore.
With over 20 years of experience in diverse positions within the Ministry of Education, National Institute of Education and international schools in China, Chi-Wen has acquired a wealth of expertise as a teacher, academic researcher, head of a department and school administrator. His knowledge extends across the Cambridge, Singapore, and Chinese curricula, and he possesses a strong command of student-centric learning approaches like STEAM and Problem-Based Learning.
Chi-Wen considers himself incredibly fortunate to have drawn inspiration from numerous teachers, including his father, who is also an educator. Their wise advice and mentorship have profoundly impacted him, leaving a positive imprint on his life. It brings him great delight and a sense of honour to pass on this knowledge and guidance to others within the school community. As a teacher and school leader, he eagerly anticipates witnessing the joyful and beaming faces of his students each day. Chi-Wen firmly believes that this profound sense of joy and fulfilment is unmatched by any other profession.
At OWIS Digital Campus, Chi-Wen looks forward to embracing innovative teaching practices and school programmes that foster high-quality teaching and learning. Outside of work, Chi-Wen enjoys engaging in various activities, including cooking, cycling, jogging, and reading about current affairs and the latest teaching practices. He is also a passionate traveller, having explored more than 17 countries and 63 cities so far — and his adventures with his family continue to grow.

Asmita Sharma
Asmita holds a Master of Philosophy in Education, a Master of Science, an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Penn Foster College in the USA, a Leadership Course from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and an Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Leadership (ADECL) from NIEC in Singapore.
Asmita has over 15 years of international teaching experience, specialising in the IB approach and Reggio Emilia curriculum across international schools in Singapore and India.
At the core of her teaching philosophy lies the conviction that every child possesses unique qualities and progresses at their own pace. In her role as an educator, she is dedicated to offering culturally, linguistically, and developmentally diverse learning opportunities, enabling children to take ownership of their learning. She firmly asserts that a secure and nurturing environment is indispensable for fostering a child’s physical, cognitive, and creative development.
In her leisure time, Asmita derives joy from quality family time, travelling, and dancing. Relocating to Singapore alongside her beloved family in 2010, they have come to regard the country as their cherished second home. Asmita delights in the enchantment of living in Singapore, finding its numerous charms and attractions truly captivating. One of her favourite aspects about Singapore is its cultural diversity, setting it apart from many places.

Jane Lim was born in Singapore and holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Geography from the National University of Singapore, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the National Institute of Education, Singapore. With 14 years of teaching experience, she has taught in a range of educational settings, including 6.5 years in a Singapore secondary school, 5.5 years in an international school in Cambodia, and the past two years in an international school in Singapore.
Jane has taught a wide range of subjects including Geography, Environmental Systems and Societies, English Literature, and Social Studies. Her experience spans multiple curricula such as the Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Levels, Cambridge IGCSE, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). She believes that all individuals are on a journey to understand themselves and their place in the world, and sees her role as walking alongside her students in this meaningful exploration. Jane is excited to be part of the pioneering IBDP team at OWIS Punggol and looks forward to building strong connections with her students.
Outside of the classroom, Jane enjoys playing board games, building Lego sets, piecing together jigsaw puzzles and getting lost in a good book.

Pooja Mohan
Pooja has over 12 years of experience nurturing, teaching, and educating young learners. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Delhi University in India, a Diploma in Nursery and Primary Teachers Training from Polytechnic for Women in India, a Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers & Trainers from Cambridge International in Singapore, an Early Childhood Education from WSQ Professional Diploma in Singapore, and a Masters in Early Childhood Education from Monash University in Australia.
She firmly believes that every child embarks on a unique learning journey, and it falls upon educators to establish a nurturing environment where students can flourish and explore at their own pace. To achieve this, she adheres to a personal philosophy centred around their vital principles including interaction, patience, and love. By fostering meaningful interactions, she aims to develop a strong connection with each child, promoting open communication and cultivating a foundation of trust.

Chermaine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Monash University in Australia. She has over six years of experience teaching Early Childhood in Singapore, specialising in the Reggio Emilia approach.
As an educator, Chermaine is confident that all children, regardless of age, are capable thinkers and communicators. She is passionate about creating an innovative, inspiring, and inclusive learning environment that encourages children to explore and enjoy the process of learning. As a curious, hands-on, and creative individual, she hopes to instil a love for learning in children, supporting them to ask questions, experiment, and discover their interests. She believes that the early years are a critical time for laying the foundation of lifelong learning, and she is committed to providing each child with the tools they need to thrive academically and socially.

Jessica Liu Haiyan
Jessica embarked on her teaching journey in China in 2002 before relocating to Singapore in 2007. Before becoming a part of OWIS Digital Campus, her career encompassed diverse roles at several international schools in Singapore. She functioned as an educational therapist and specialised teacher of the Chinese language, extending tailored support to learners with Dyslexia, ADHD, ADD, and ASD. Moreover, Jessica gained valuable experience as a bilingual homeroom teacher proficient in both Chinese and English. Her contributions also extended to being a Chinese language acquisition teacher, fostering the holistic growth of children through the lenses of Literacy, Mathematics, and Units of Inquiry.
She holds an English Education Degree from Xinjiang Normal University in China. In addition, she boasts an array of certifications, which encompass a Teachers Certificate for Teaching English in Senior High School, a Specialist Diploma in Educational Therapy for Chinese Support, a Certificate for Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (CTCSOL), a Certificate in Dyslexia and Chinese Language Support, and a Certificate of Dyslexia Study.
Jessica’s teaching philosophy centres around the belief that education should be student-centred and teacher-led. She firmly believes that her role entails providing students with avenues to engage with subjects through experiential learning, both within the classroom and in outdoor settings. She aims to steer students towards developing resilience, compassion, and leadership qualities, ultimately nurturing them into lifelong learners.

Rushda Abdul Rahman
With more than a decade of experience in the education field, Rushda has fulfilled various roles within the sector. Her journey encompasses positions, including assistant teacher, playgroup teacher, and robotics instructor in Singapore.
Rushda holds a WSQ Introduction to Student and Youth Care from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, a Certificate in Infant and Toddler from Seed Institute, and a Fundamentals in Early Childhood Care & Development from First Learning Training Centre.
She believes that children can learn well when they are accepted for who they are in their learning journey. She holds the conviction that teaching is a task that is full of excitement and joy.
Outside of work, Rushda enjoys travelling, cafe hopping, and streaming on Netflix

Saidatana Fairuz
Saida had the privilege of working in both local and international schools in Singapore for over 17 years. Her teaching experience ranges from Early Childhood to Grade 5 in both homerooms and specialist classes.
She holds a Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from London Teachers’ Training College and a Master of Education from Nanyang Technological University.
Saida strongly believes in creating a classroom environment where students not only develop skills to excel academically but also grow into compassionate and well-rounded individuals. Learning is her passion and she strives to positivity instil the same passion in her students.
During her free time, she enjoys journaling, calligraphy, and travelling. Additionally, her love for languages drives her to continually learn new ones. She currently has a limited working proficiency in Mandarin and Korean.

Paresha Shroff
Paresha is from Mumbai, India. She began her journey as an Early Childhood teacher in 2010 and attained the title of Centre Head of the preschool in a span of three years. She also built a new centre from scratch with her mentor by her side.
Paresha believes that a classroom should be a safe, caring community where children are free to speak their minds and blossom and grow. She also believes that each child is unique. Therefore, she endeavours to bring out their best potential.
Her own children are her strongest inspirations. Paresha says they make her a better teacher just by being themselves. In her time at OWIS, she looks forward to helping her students learn, create and build. She is known for being fun-loving, approachable and enthusiastic.
Paresha believes that kindness begets kindness, and no act of kindness is too small. The gift of kindness may start as a small ripple but can, over time, turn into a tidal wave affecting the lives of many.
In her free time, she enjoys painting, cycling and travelling around the world.

Elena is from Singapore and holds a Bachelor of Education degree (Early Childhood) from James Cook University.
Teaching runs in her family and growing up, she was inspired by her father, who dedicated his career to education. She has around five years of experience, mainly in international schools across Early Years and Grade 1. She aims to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity, empowering students to become active participants in their education.

Pooja Khanna
Pooja holds a Bachelor of Home Science from SNDT Women’s University in India, a Diploma in Preschool Education Teaching from Modern Montessori International Academy in Singapore, a BA (HONS) in Early Childhood Care and Education from the University of Warwick in the UK, and an International Educator Certificate (IEC) for IB PYP from the University of Windsor in Canada.
With over 15 years of experience across various international schools and local preschools in Singapore, Pooja has acquired extensive proficiency in teaching both the IB and American-based curricula.
In her role as an educator, her teaching philosophy centres on cultivating a learning atmosphere that is centred around the student, emphasising inquiry-based learning. By promoting a collaborative and inclusive environment, she aims to instil the values of respect, empathy, and global citizenship, equipping students to actively engage as contributors in our interconnected global community.
During her leisure hours, Pooja primarily immerses herself in physical activities such as Zumba and brisk walking. Additionally, she also loves going to the gym to maintain her well-being and manage stress. Pooja balances her free time by dedicating them to fostering connections with her family and friends to create lasting memories.

Anna Ramos
Anna Ramos is an experienced educator from the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Graduate Studies Education Certificate from De La Salle University. With over eight years of teaching experience across the Philippines, Indonesia, and Singapore, she has worked extensively in both preschool and primary education settings. Her teaching journey includes roles as a Science and Reading teacher at the primary level, as well as five years of experience nurturing young learners in preschool.
Anna’s educational philosophy is rooted in adaptability. She believes that every child is unique, with their own individual strengths, talents, and learning styles. As a teacher, she values flexibility and is committed to using varied teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of her students, helping each one to learn and grow in a way that works best for them.
Outside the classroom, Anna enjoys reading and spending quality time with her family. She also has a passion for baking and engaging in arts and crafts with her two children, activities that allow her to be creative while building meaningful connections at home.

Dinali Wickramanayake
Dinali is a Sri Lankan who moved to Singapore with her parents when she was two years old. She holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education from Wheelock College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Monash University, and a Master’s Degree in Education (Educational Management) and a Postgraduate Certificate in International Education (IB PYP) from The University of Melbourne.
Dinali has been an educator for 12 years and has focused on working with young children between the ages of 18 months and 6 years old. She is passionate about teaching using an emergent and inquiry-based approach, and this drove her to pursue an IB certification in 2021.
Dinali’s teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that children have a voice and choice that empowers them to take ownership of their learning. For her, teaching is a collaborative process that involves working closely with students, families, and colleagues to create a learning environment that is supportive, engaging, and empowering for all involved.
A humanitarian trip to West Timor solidified Dinali’s desire to become a teacher. During that trip, she conducted a programme for the children at an orphanage and witnessed firsthand their innocence and the unique perspective and potential that they possess.
In her free time, Dinali enjoys exploring new places and cultures through travel. She also likes to stay active and healthy by going to the gym or engaging in other physical activities. Over the weekends, she volunteers in initiatives related to children and the youth, and she enjoys building relationships and being a mentor to them.

Angeline Swee
Angeline earned her Bachelor of Business Communication and Master of Business Communication degrees both from Queensland University of Technology. Additionally, she holds a Master of Education in Curriculum Planning and Teaching as well as a Diploma in Education both awarded by the National Institute of Education in Singapore.
She is a trained PAP teacher with over two decades of teaching experience. Her extensive expertise in curriculum planning and teaching was honed through training at the National Institute of Education, NTU, Singapore. Her teaching journey has extended beyond the border of Singapore as she has taught in Indonesia, Thailand, and Australia. Throughout her career, she has adeptly prepared numerous Asian students for examinations in Singapore, Britain, and Australia.
At the core of her teaching philosophy is the commitment to nurturing students to reach their fullest potential, equipping them to become responsible global citizens capable of pursuing their own happiness. Her inspiration to become an educator stems from a profound desire to transform lives and leave a lasting positive impact on the world.

Buvaneswari Chitty (Buna)
Buna is from Singapore. She graduated from Temasek Polytechnic in Electronic Engineering and then received her Diploma in Education with Merit from the National Institute of Education. She has been professionally involved in primary education for about twelve years. Her philosophy of education is that when learning is made fun and exciting, students retain information better because the process is enjoyable and memorable.
Buna always wanted an opportunity to make a positive difference, and she has found that opportunity in teaching. When students or parents tell her how much they appreciate what she’s done, she feels great happiness. While working at OWIS, it’s her goal to positively impact her students and help them engage in lifelong learning through creative and engaging lessons.
She says that every day of her teaching career has been memorable. However, when asked to remember a particularly memorable teaching moment, Buna recalls a time when a student gifted her a pen and said she was the reason that he could write well.
Buna has a special love for antiques and flea markets. In her free time, she enjoys refurbishing antique furnishings and giving them a new lease of life. Her other hobbies include beading, painting and gardening.

Mallika Sinha
After pursuing degrees in Mathematics and Economics and embarking on a corporate career, Mallika quickly realised her passion lay in the empowerment of children and continuous learning. She switched to teaching and, at the same time, earned her relevant university qualifications in the field of education.
She now has over eight years of experience in teaching students in the primary grades. She believes that it is her mission to help children experience new things, keeping in mind that they are on the path to becoming experts. Her priority is to create a safe, fun-filled, positive, and collaborative classroom environment where students are welcomed at the door with a smile.
In her time at OWIS Digital Campus, she looks forward to being a part of the dynamic and inspiring team that works towards the school’s mission of creating inquiring, compassionate, and reflective lifelong learners who respect all cultures and care for the world. Neha Kaprani has earned her BA honours in Sociology and ECCEd from ORT India (London). She is currently pursuing a Masters in International Education from the UK.
She has over 18 years of experience in the field of education. With her knowledge of the IB, she was promoted to the role of PYP Coordinator in her previous school, where she worked for 10 years.
Neha is proud of her profession and strives to be a motivated, passionate, proactive teacher. She enjoys developing and implementing lucid methods of teaching that encourage curiosity and interest in students, as well as self-resilience and confidence.
She is looking forward to building her relationships with her students, parents and colleagues at OWIS. She works best in collaboration with others and looks forward to sharing great ideas and learning new and innovative skills from her colleagues at OWIS.

Her professional journey has encompassed diverse roles, ranging from a national educational researcher and regular education teacher to positions as a science coordinator, head of the science department, head of the examination unit, and deputy head of a secondary school.
She possesses a Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in Biology and a minor in Mathematics. Her latest achievement involves her participation in a doctoral programme specialising in Chemistry Education.

Amrutha Raman
Amrutha Raman originally hails from Bangalore India where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Microbiology from the University of Bangalore. Amrutha started her career 16 years ago as a lecturer. She has taught graduate and post-graduate students and trained them in the field of Bacteriology and Industrial Microbiology. She later pursued her MBA in Industrial Relationship and Personal Management from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (affiliated with Mumbai University).
Later, Amrutha decided to slightly change her career focus as she was passionate about working with younger students and hence earned a degree in Nursery Teachers Training and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Currently, she has an ongoing Master of Arts in Education with Leadership and Administration and a Ph.D. in Education.
Amrutha worked in several international schools in India teaching students of different age groups (across pre-primary, primary and secondary) and also worked as an assistant to a child psychologist trying to understand child psychology while working with children with special needs.
Amrutha is excited to share her knowledge and expertise with her secondary students at OWIS. She looks forward to engaging and guiding her students to become internationally minded.
Amrutha is also a professional Indian Carnatic classical singer, a stage performer and an All India Radio artist with over twenty years experience in training students in the field of music. Mischelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Saint Louis University in the Philippines, a Master of Science in Biology from Virgen Milagrosa University in the Philippines and a Specialist Diploma in Microbiology from Singapore Polytechnic.
She has over five years of experience teaching subjects, including Biological Science, Zoology, Botany, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Taxonomy, Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy, Environmental Science, and Technology and Society.
In her approach to teaching, she aims to nurture the inherent kindness and collaboration within students, prioritising these qualities over competition. She has furthered her education with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (International) from the University of Nottingham in the UK and obtained a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language Certification from i-to-i in the UK.
After a decade-long career in business advisory and educational projects in Kazakhstan, she transitioned into the field of education, where she has dedicated nearly four years to her teaching journey. During this time, she has provided tutoring in business and economics in Kazakhstan and has also taught English to learners aged 4 to 11 in Shenzhen, China.
At the core of her teaching philosophy is building a favourable learning environment that nurtures the growth of every student. Suhailin is a passionate Singaporean educator with over 15 years of teaching experience. Suhailin began her career as a 3D Artist/Designer, specialising in architecture and interior design. Since then, she has worked in a variety of educational environments, including secondary schools and SPED (Special Education) institutions, enriching her teaching practice with diverse experiences.

Jacqueline comes from Wenzhou, China. She earned her Master’s Degree in Teaching Chinese as an International Language from National Institute of Education, Singapore, and she embarked on her teaching career at an international school shortly after.
During that time, she also volunteered for many teaching jobs, such as Sunday School teacher, short-term assistant teacher and support teacher. She was an oral presenter at the 11th Conference of Asia-Pacific Consortium of Teaching Chinese as an International Language (Singapore).
She believes that only by making students “fall in love” with Chinese as a language and by arousing their interest in learning can they gain proficiency. To motivate students in her class, she leverages technology in the right way and makes learning fun.
When Jacqueline was young, she hated learning until she met a good teacher who made classes fun and this inspired her in her studies. From then on, she knew she wanted to become a teacher just like him.

Yuanyuan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts and a Master’s Degree in Art Design from the Hubei Institute of Fine Arts as well as a National Mandarin Teacher Certificate from the Ministry of Education of China.
With more than eight years of experience in the education sector, she has taken on various roles, including that of a Chinese teacher, Mandarin instructor, author of a Chinese textbook, and founder of the Wuhan Bilingual Language Learning Center.
Her journey in education was influenced by remarkable educators who left a lasting impression on her, motivating her to pay forward the impact by becoming a teacher herself.

Neha Kaprani has earned her BA honours in Sociology and ECCEd from ORT India (London). She is currently pursuing a Masters in International Education from the UK.
She has over 18 years of experience in the field of education. With her knowledge of the IB, she was promoted to the role of PYP Coordinator in her previous school, where she worked for 10 years.
Neha is proud of her profession and strives to be a motivated, passionate, proactive teacher. She enjoys developing and implementing lucid methods of teaching that encourage curiosity and interest in students, as well as self-resilience and confidence.
She is looking forward to building her relationships with her students, parents and colleagues at OWIS. She works best in collaboration with others and looks forward to sharing great ideas and learning new and innovative skills from her colleagues at OWIS.

Amir holds an NIE Master of Education (Developmental Psychology), a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Sociology, and a Specialist Diploma in Applied Learning and Teaching.
With over 10 years of experience in education, Amir had the privilege of working with a range of students from diverse backgrounds. This experience has honed his ability to comprehend the unique requirements of each student and to craft a nurturing and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Amir’s classroom is a place where creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration thrive. Through interactive and hands-on activities, Amir strives to engage students in fostering a love for learning. He believes in empowering students to take ownership of their education and encouraging them to explore their curiosities through thought-provoking questions.
In his role as an educator, Amir demonstrates a steadfast commitment to continuous professional development, consistently staying up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and technologies. He firmly believes in the notion that education is an ongoing journey, emphasising the constant acquisition of new knowledge. Additionally, Amir places great importance on fostering strong partnerships with parents and emphasizes effective communication, recognising the pivotal role such collaboration plays in the success of students.
Outside of the classroom, Amir enjoys reading, listening to music, meeting friends, and spending time with his loved ones.

Sneha D’souza
Sneha is from Mumbai in India and moved to Singapore 12 years ago. She always felt the calling to become a teacher, and this led her to get her Bachelor of Education degree.
Since then, she has worked in many primary schools both in India and Singapore where she has taught children of varied nationalities. This experience aroused her interest in teaching children who come from non-English speaking countries and need help to develop their language skills. To upgrade her skills, she earned the Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and trainers (CIDTT) and a certification for TESOL from London College and for teaching the PYP from the University of Windsor.
She believes that each child is unique and teachers have the responsibility to tap into their special attributes, so as to give them the confidence to learn and grow.
Sneha is a mom to two teenagers. She has a passion for baking, especially celebration cakes, and she believes that like her full-time profession of teaching, this brings out her creative side.
English as an Additional Language Teacher
Kasthuri Gunasegaran
Kasthuri brings 20 years of rich teaching experience in both local and international preschools and primary schools across Singapore. Specialising in teaching English to speakers of other languages, she has supported diverse learners in developing strong language foundations.
Kasthuri holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Linguistics, equipping her with a strong foundation in understanding language, culture, and human interaction—key elements in teaching English to speakers of other languages.
Her other academic and professional journey reflects a deep commitment to education. She holds a Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) alongside qualifications Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and Diploma in Montessori Teaching. Her qualification of Diploma in Interior Design brings a creative lens to her teaching approach and space.
She believes that teaching English goes beyond grammar and vocabulary—it’s about opening doors to global communication and cultural connection. Guided by this belief, Kasthuri creates inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning spaces where every student is empowered to express themselves confidently in English.
At OWIS Digital Campus, she looks forward to contributing to a global learning community where students thrive through meaningful, language-rich experiences.

Fauzia Siddiqui
Originally from India, Fauzia earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology from Allahabad University. A volunteering stint at her son’s Montessori preschool in 2017 sparked her passion for education and promoting the mental well-being of children became her driving force. Since then, she has earned a Specialist Diploma in Children and Youth Counselling and Management from ACC Institute of Human Services, Singapore, and a Graduate Certificate in Counselling from Monash University, Australia. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Counselling from Monash University.
In 2020, Fauzia became a part of OWIS and she joined OWIS Suntec in 2021. She has been working collaboratively with students, addressing various aspects of their well-being, including anger management, anxiety, depression, conflict resolution, and social skills development. Additionally, she has implemented school-wide interventions by conducting Socio-Emotional Learning lessons, benefiting students in both Early Childhood and Primary levels.
Fauzia is glad that kindness is not just a marketing slogan here at OWIS Digital Campus. It is something she witnesses every day, from our dedicated support staff and committed leadership team to our caring teachers.
Fauzia moved to Singapore 15 years ago and she has cherished the experience of raising her son in one of the world’s safest countries as well as making many friends here. A big foodie, she loves to explore new places to eat around Singapore.

Jacqueline Khoo
Born and raised in Singapore and coming from an English-speaking family, learning Mandarin was a struggle when Jacqueline was in junior school. However, it was her Grade 2 teacher’s encouragement that ignited her passion for the language. As her interest in Mandarin grew, Jacqueline made the decision to dedicate herself to a career in Mandarin education and embarked on further studies in China. Her experiences in mastering one of the world’s most complex languages granted her valuable insights, shaping her belief in making Mandarin classes enjoyable and practical for students.
Jacqueline holds a Master’s Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages from Jinan University, China. She also earned a Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education, Singapore. Her teaching journey commenced with the Ministry of Education in Singapore, where she worked for seven years. During this period, she received the Outstanding Contribution Award for her innovative project aimed at boosting the confidence of young learners through speech, drama, and stage performances.
Prior to her role at OWIS, she taught Mandarin to students of all age groups, encompassing first, second, and foreign language learners at another international school in Singapore. She also introduced the Community Language Program, designed to teach Mandarin to the adult community at the same institution.
Jacqueline’s teaching philosophy aligns with the words of Dr. James Comer, who emphasised the significance of meaningful relationships in the learning process. At OWIS, Jacqueline eagerly anticipates connecting with her students and aspires to nurture a bilingual mindset within them. Her most cherished teaching experiences involve successfully training her students for stage performances.
Outside of the classroom, Jacqueline finds solace in physical activities such as yoga, gym and MMA classes. She also delights in pursuits such as diving and hiking and eagerly embraces new adventure sports.
