A Night of Insight and Connection: Recap of Our Secondary Back to School Night
Our Secondary Back to School Night for One World International School (OWIS) Digital Campus* was a resounding success, bringing together parents, teachers, and students for an evening of valuable insights and strengthened connections. This event underscored our commitment to collaboration and excellence in education, setting the stage for a successful academic year ahead.
The evening began with a warm welcome from Mr Wong Chi-Wen, Secondary School Senior Coordinator, who shared the school’s vision and goals. Parents gained a deeper understanding of our educational philosophy and the exciting initiatives planned for the upcoming year. Key highlights from the event include:
- Teacher Introductions: This provided parents with the opportunity to meet their children’s subject-specific educators, who shared insights into their backgrounds, teaching philosophies, and enthusiasm for the upcoming year.
- Curriculum Sharing: Parents had the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of our curriculum and programmes by engaging in discussions with our esteemed educators.
- Building a Parent Community: In addition to the presentations, there were ample opportunities for our founding parents to socialise and connect, nurturing a strong sense of community.
