In November last year, our 16U football team clinched the 2nd position in the ACSIS Season 1 football competition.
This year, they have been battling it out in Division 4, and their hard work and dedication is paying off.
Here is what Daksh A., captain of the Under-16 football team and Grade 10 IGSCE student, had to say about his experience representing the school in ACSIS competitions.
What has been the highlight of the ACSIS sports season / competitions for you?
Has being a part of this team and the competitions improved your overall learning experience at OWIS?
Yes, it certainly has significantly enhanced my overall learning experience at OWIS, as school alone can be a little monotonous at times. However, when you have training and games after school, there is something to look forward to; I feel more excited and less stressed coming to school. It makes my overall experience in school much better.
How has the training and preparation experience been?
The training has been good, but it would be even better if it happens more often.
