Early Childhood learners engage in fun hands-on learning
Our youngest learners at OWIS Nanyang have been having fun while learning origami, the fine art of paper folding.
Inspired by American artist Claes Oldenberg, our Grade 8 students drew inspiration from popular culture and worked on the construction of giant food sculptures. Using everyday food as inspiration, they created works of art using different mediums, such as paint, sculpture and printmaking. These realistic-looking artworks not only displayed the skilled handiwork of our learners, but they also looked delicious!
