IBDP and IGCSE school clap 2024

Every year, April brings with it the excitement of the last term of the school year as well as  sentimental moments, especially when it becomes time to acknowledge the achievements of our graduating IBDP cohort and the IGCSE students

The school clap for the IBDP and IGCSE grades at OWIS Nanyang has been a tradition since the establishment of this campus. This year as well, in a vibrant display of solidarity and support, our school community assembled in the outdoor playground as our Grade 12 and Grade 10 students proudly marched by, waving their OWIS flags.

Our Primary students are always the ones who cheer the most and loudest for them. Braving the hot afternoon sun, their enthusiasm to give high fives to their seniors, much to the amusement of the latter, brought a smile on the faces of all the staff and faculty.

Ms Sanhita Roy, IBDP Coordinator, said, “Witnessing the journey of our graduating class fills me with immense pride and bittersweet nostalgia. Their resilience, growth, and achievements throughout the programme have been remarkable. As they embark on their next chapter, I am filled with a mix of excitement for their future endeavours and a touch of sadness to see them leave our school community. Nevertheless, I am confident that they are well-equipped to thrive in the challenges that lie ahead, carrying with them the values and lessons learned during their time with us.

Mr. Firmin Lee, IGCSE Coordinator, said, “It has been a privilege to have had this journey with these G10 students over the course of the year as their IGCSE Coordinator. This batch of G10s have shown great tenacity and have grown in maturity and wisdom over the year. I am honoured to be part of their growth here in OWIS. As they begin their IGCSE exams, I am sure they will be able to nail every paper and I am waiting with great hope to see the outstanding results that OWIS Nanyang has ever had!”

We are incredibly proud of our Grade 12 IBDP and Grade 10 IGCSE students, and we wish them all the very best for their final examinations.
