OWIS Suntec’s Early Childhood learners explore shapes

At OWIS Suntec, our Early Childhood learners had fun exploring and creating different three-dimensional shapes. They wondered why some shapes were collapsing and applied their problem solving skills to find a solution to keep them upright. (The solution was extra Blu-tac.)

The students also developed their spatial awareness by creating two-dimensional shapes using a geoboard. They enhanced their fine motor skills as they manipulated rubberbands to create different shapes. Creating these shapes on the geoboard introduced our learners to the concept of spatial reasoning and developed their numeracy skills.
