Video Recap: IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) Exhibition

PYP 2025

OWIS Nanyang proudly hosted its much-anticipated IB PYP Exhibition, bringing together over 1,000 visitors, including students, teachers, and parents. The event was a true celebration of student-driven inquiry, creativity, and real-world problem-solving—a testament to the depth of learning in the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).

As expressed by our Head of School, Mr James Sweeney, “We expand on the skills of the IB Learner Profile. This PYP Exhibition includes many of those skills where we ask our Grade 5 students to research, giving students agency and showcasing their ability to collaborate.”

The multi-purpose hall buzzed with energy as our students confidently presented their research projects, tackling real-world issues with thoughtfulness and innovation. From sustainability initiatives to technological advancements and social responsibility projects, the diversity of topics showcased our students’ ability to think critically and take action on matters that affect their world.

Visitors were treated to interactive displays, engaging student-led presentations, and meaningful discussions. The presence of our guest schools added an exciting collaborative element, allowing students to exchange ideas and perspectives beyond their own classrooms.

Beyond being an academic milestone, the IB PYP Exhibition was a powerful demonstration of student agency, fostering confidence, teamwork, and global awareness. We are incredibly proud of our young learners for their hard work, passion, and commitment to making a difference.
