Our IB PYP Grade 1 has been exploring scriptwriting recently. Students went through the script for ‘Toy Story 4’ and compared it to the opening scene of the movie that was playing. They noticed that the movie follows the script and reached the conclusion that a script is needed before making a movie.
They also explored writing their own scripts for scenes from the story called ‘A Whale’s Tale’. What a great activity for putting creativity in the spotlight!
