The 31st of October was a “spooktacular” day across all OWIS campuses in Singapore.
From the moment students arrived, the excitement was palpable. Campuses were filled with witches, superheroes, pirates, princesses, and even a few inflatable dinosaurs! Each costume reflected not just the students’ imagination but also their enthusiasm to join in the spirit of the day.
The celebrations in all three campuses, OWIS Nanyang, Newton and Digital Campus, included lively costume parades, where students proudly showcased their creative outfits to the cheers of their classmates and teachers. Many classes also participated in themed activities from decorating and storytime with spooky tales, to Halloween-themed art and craft projects that encouraged teamwork and self-expression.
In OWIS Digital Campus, the festivities extended all the way to the evening with themed performances and booths by our parent community, which included activities such as face painting.
At OWIS, every celebration is an opportunity for learning and Halloween is no different. Through creative expression and collaboration, students build confidence, develop social-emotional skills, and strengthen friendships across grade levels.
