This has been an outstanding year for OWIS. Our students have achieved excellent results across this year’s Cambridge IGCSE exams, and there is plenty to celebrate.
We are so proud of every student for the hard work, focus and ambition they showed to get here.
The Results At A Glance
- 49% of the cohort achieved A* or A grades.
- 89% of the cohort achieved A* to C grades.
- Four students achieved eight A*s each.
- Our students earned 17 Cambridge ICE Distinctions and 27 Merits.
These are incredible results, and they reflect the hard work of every student, the dedication of our teachers, and the support of every family.
Learning That Goes Beyond The Exams
These results reflect more than strong grades. Preparing for IGCSE teaches students how to manage their time, study independently and think critically about what they are learning. These skills help to build confidence and discipline that stays with them well beyond the exam hall.
This preparation matters even more when you look at what comes next. Whether your child goes on to the IB Diploma Programme or Cambridge International A-Levels, both pathways ask a great deal of students. Independent research, extended writing and deep subject knowledge all come into play. IGCSE is where that groundwork is laid, so students arrive ready for the demands of either one.
All of this happens within our One World, One Community outlook. Our students learn alongside peers from many different backgrounds and cultures, which shapes not just how they study, but how they see the world. That global perspective is part of what makes an OWIS education stand apart.
OWIS Nanyang
Nanyang’s standout story this year comes from our hard working Maths crew as18 students sat their IGCSE Mathematics exam a full year early!
Sitting an exam early takes courage. It means being ready to be tested at a level most students have not reached yet. Every one of these 18 students achieved A* to B, and the results speak for themselves:
- All 18 achieved A* to B.
- 94.4% achieved A* or A.
- 72.2% achieved the top grade, A*.
- The results break down to 13 A*s, four As and one B.
Beyond Mathematics, Nanyang students had plenty more to celebrate. Just over half, 50.1%, of all 445 graded entries achieved A* or A, and 85.6% achieved A* to C. Three students achieved eight straight A*s across every subject they sat.
Mandarin was a particular highlight, with 20 A*s out of 23 entries. In Cambridge ICE, Nanyang students earned 11 Distinctions and 21 Merits, with strong results across a wide range of subjects.
James Sweeney, Head of School at OWIS Nanyang, reflected on what these results mean for the school:

OWIS Digital Campus
This year is especially meaningful for OWIS Digital Campus. These are the results of our very first IGCSE cohort, marking a big milestone for the campus, and they have set the bar high.
Across the cohort:
- 48% achieved A* or A.
- 93.1% achieved A* to C, a strong overall pass rate.
- 24% of all grades achieved were A*.
Global Perspectives stood out as the top-performing subject. 90% of students earned A* or A in the subject, and 70% of students achieved a straight A*.
For a first-ever cohort, these results are a wonderful sign of what is ahead for Digital Campus.
James Morris, Head of School for our Digital Campus says:
"We're so proud of our students' IGCSE results this year, our first year sitting external exams. 93% of all grades were A to C, with 48% at A* or A. What means the most to me is the journey behind these numbers. Six months earlier, many of these students were getting very different results. Moving from fail grades to As wasn't luck. It took patient, dedicated teachers, hardworking students, and parents who trusted the process. This is what happens every day in every classroom here, from Early Childhood through to Grade 12. I want to thank our parents for their continued support. That partnership between home and school is what helps every child succeed."
