OWIS Nanyang students took the lead in celebrating Digital Literacy Day, a special initiative designed to build confidence, curiosity, and responsibility in the digital world. Led by our enthusiastic Tech Ambassadors, the event highlighted how technology can be both creative and meaningful when used thoughtfully.
Students had the opportunity to organise engaging mini-workshops focused on key digital skills such as Cyber Safety, Robotics, Game Development, and Graphic Design using Canva. These sessions were designed to be interactive and age-appropriate. Seeing students teach and support their peers made the experience especially powerful, reinforcing leadership and collaboration.
The learning continued with a dedicated Digital Literacy Workshop led by the Tech Ambassadors, where students explored how technology connects to everyday learning and real-world problem solving. Parents were kept informed throughout, ensuring a strong home-school partnership and shared understanding of the importance of digital literacy.
Digital Literacy Day at OWIS Nanyang was not just about screens and software, it was about empowering students to be safe, creative, and confident digital citizens, ready to thrive in an ever-evolving world.
