A standout experience for all the students was the IB PYP Exhibition in Grade 5, a culminating project that challenged them to research global issues, think critically and present their findings. Through exploring topics such as environmental sustainability and social challenges, they developed important research skills, including sourcing information, evaluating evidence and using citations—skills that continue to support them in secondary school and the IBDP.

Beyond academic preparation, the students highlighted the mindset that the PYP nurtured. They learned to question assumptions, explore multiple perspectives and think beyond a single textbook or source of information. This open-minded approach encouraged them to become independent learners who are curious about the world around them.

For these students, the foundations laid in the IB PYP continue to influence the way they learn, think and engage with the world today.
