We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Mr James Morris as the Head of School for One World International School (OWIS) Digital Campus. He brings with him an impressive background in education, with over 30 years of experience across various teaching and leadership roles.
Originally from the UK, Mr Morris holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Master of Arts (MA) in Literae Humaniores (Latin, Classical Greek, Ancient History, Literature and Philosophy) from St. Anne’s College, Oxford University. He also earned a Postgraduate Certification of Education (PGCE) in Classics and Drama from St. Catharine’s College, Cambridge University and the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) from the National College, UK. His qualifications are complemented by a Certificate of Teaching English as a Foreign Language (CTEFLA) from International House, UK. With extensive experience in both the UK and China, including his roles as Founding Head of an international school and Co-Head of a bilingual institution, Mr Morris is well-equipped to lead OWIS Digital Campus into its next chapter.
Mr Morris said, “At OWIS Digital Campus, I am looking forward to integrating with a diverse team for the continual enhancement of student development. I am also excited to collaborate with all members of the school community, including students, parents, educators, board members, support staff as well as other key stakeholders.
Moreover, I am committed to a high-quality academic and holistic education where students can learn safely and happily, and feel constantly supported in a nurturing environment.”
