OWIS Digital Campus Hosts First-Ever PYP Exhibition

Our Grade 5 students participated in the first-ever PYP Exhibition at One World International School (OWIS) Digital Campus in Punggol. This significant event marks a milestone in their journey, showcasing their hard work, creativity and dedication.

The PYP Exhibition is a culmination of our students’ learning experiences, where they engage in a collaborative, in-depth inquiry into real-world issues. This year’s theme, “Sharing the Planet,” provided a rich context for students to explore and present their findings on various topics, ranging from environmental conservation to social justice.

Here are the highlights of the exhibition:

Student-Driven Inquiry

Our students took the lead in their learning journey, formulating their Central Ideas and Lines of Inquiry. They asked thought-provoking questions, conducted extensive research and analysed their findings to develop a comprehensive understanding of their chosen topics.

Creative Presentations

The exhibition was a vibrant display of creativity and innovation. Students utilised a variety of mediums, including models, posters, digital presentations and performances, to communicate their ideas and insights. Their ability to connect their learning to real-world contexts was truly impressive.

Community Engagement

The exhibition was not just an internal event; it was a celebration involving parents, teachers and the wider community. The support and encouragement from all corners played a crucial role in motivating our students and making the event a grand success.

Reflective Learning

One of the key aspects of the PYP Exhibition is reflection. Students reflected on their learning process, the challenges they faced and the skills they developed. This reflective practice helped them gain deeper insights into their learning and growth.

Our PYP Exhibition not only highlighted the individual and collective achievements of our students but also fostered a sense of community and engagement among everyone involved. We are immensely proud of our students and grateful to everyone who contributed to making this milestone event a memorable and impactful experience.
